DAY O1 : DELHI
Arrive Delhi: On arrival at the Delhi International Airport you will be welcomed and greeted with flowers by our Tour Representative. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
DAY O2 : DELHI
Morning breakfast in hotel & proceed to city tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Van – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Akshardham Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
DAY O3 : DELHI – MANDAWA (250 Km, 6-7 Hrs)
After morning breakfast drive to Mandawa. On arrival in Mandawa, check in at hotel. Mandawa lies in the heart of Shekhawati Region (a painted arched gateway) and is famous for Shekhawati art and visit old & beautiful Havelis.
Remainder of the day at leisure to explore the Mandawa. Overnight stay at hotel in Mandawa.
DAY O4 : MANDAWA – BIKANER (192 Km, 4-5 Hrs)
After Morning breakfast, drive to Bikaner. Arrive Bikaner & check in at the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for city tour. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort, housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke Rat Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Bikaner.
DAY O5 : BIKNER – JAISALMER (290 Km, 7-8 Hrs)
After Morning breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive Jaisalmer & check in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit Jaisalmer Fort. Built over the Trikuta hill, this fort is the biggest and the most beautiful landmark of the city. It is also known as SONAR QUILA or the Golden fort, rising from the sand, the mega structure merges with the golden hues of the desert ambience. The Jain temple, a place worth visiting, is also situated inside the fort itself. The temple, made between 12th and 15th century, bears testimony to Rajasthan’s unique artistry. Visit the havelis; the mansions built by the wealthy merchants, which are still in very good condition. The intricate craftsmanship is beyond parallel. The havelis like the Patwon-ki-Haveli and Salim-Singh-ki-Haveli are remarkable for their exclusive cutwork, yellow and red stone treatment and the bracket-shaped decoration of peacocks. The rich merchant inspired by the classic style of the royals, constructed huge mansions (havelis) adjacent to each other in the nature of medieval culture and profusely decorated walls and ceilings and intricately carved outdoors and interiors.In evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes, situated at the edge of the Thar Desert and 42 away km from Jaisalmer, is a place gaining tremendous tourist attraction these days. This sandy place is famous for watching sunset and taking a camel ride. Overnight at Jaisalmer.
DAY O6 : JAISALMER – JODHPUR (280 Km, 5-6 Hrs)
After Morning breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing. Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort visit Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh in 1899 and the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight stay at hotel in Jodhpur.
DAY O7 : JODHPUR – UDAIPUR (260 Km, 4-5 Hrs)
After Morning breakfast, drive to Udaipur. Enroute visit famous Jain Temples in Ranakpur. Ranakpur is one of the five holy places of the Jain community. These temples were built in the 15th century AD during the reign of Rana Kumbha and are enclosed within a wall. The basement is of 48, 000 sq. feet area that covers the whole complex. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over four hundred columns . Indian and mughalai preparations served by traditionally attired staff. Udaipur is known as the Venice of the east. It is also called the city of lakes. Udaipur is also the centre for performing arts, craft and its famed miniature paintings. DAY O8 : UDAIPUR
After breakfast visit the City Palace built on the bank of the Pichola Lake, by Maharana Udai Singh in 1570. The main part of the palace is now preserved as a museum displaying a large and diverse array of artefacts. Visit the Jagdish Temple; built by Maharana Jagat Singh I in 1651, the temple enshrines a black stone image of Lard Vishnu. There is a brass image of Garuda the Lord bird carrier. The exterior and the plinth are covered with base relief of alligators; elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians rise in tiers. Sahelion-ki Bari an ornamental pleasure garden specially made for the ladies of the palace in the 18th century. It has beautiful fountains, trees and flowers. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.
DAY O9 : UDAIPUR – PUSHKAR (277 Km, 4-5 Hrs)
After Morning breakfast drive to Pushkar. Enroute visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Dargah Sharif’ or ‘Holy Dargah’ is one of the most sacred Muslim shrines in the country. Venerated by both Hindus and Muslims, it is the tomb of Khwaja Moin-ud-din Chisti, a Sufi saint who came from Persia and devoted his life to the service and upliftment of the poor and downtrodden. Pushkar is a wonderful tourist destination to explore and enjoy the rustic charm of Rajasthan. This place is also known for its Brahma Temple. On arrival in Pushkar, check in at the hotel. Later visit the Brahama Temple that is believed to be one of the few temples dedicated to lord Brahma in the country. The temple houses a four-headed idol of lord Brahma. The floor of the temple is done in black and white tiles on which coins are engraved. Also visit the Pushkar Lake. This lake is a beautiful spot to be in harmony with your mind and soul. DAY 1O : PUSHKAR – JAIPUR (145 Km, 2-3 Hrs)
After Morning breakfast, drive to Jaipur. Jaipur is called the Pink City. Maharaja Jai Singh founded this city. Jaipur is surrounded by hills on all sides. arrival in Jaipur and Check in the hotel. After visit the Birla temple, Evening Rajasthani dance & dinner at resort. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel Jaipur.
DAY 11 : JAIPUR
After breakfast visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort is situated on the crest of a hill seven miles north of Jaipur is Amber, capital of the Kuchwaha Rajputs from 1037 to 1728. Man Singh I built it in a style to rival Mughal grandeur and opulence. The city-palace is protected by towering outer walls, a further wall runs for miles along the hills surrounding the palace. Make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh of Jaipur constructed the Hawa Mahal in the year 1799. Hawa Mahal is a sample of the perfection of the architecture. It was built for women in the royal family to view the ceremonial processions on the street while seated behind the small windows. Also visit Jantar Mantar, built between 1716. It is located within the city palace. Jantar Mantar contains a collection of instruments for observing the movements of sun, moon, planets and stars. It was built to develop the interest of the people in Astronomy. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.
DAY 12 : JAIPUR – AGRA (250 Km, 6 hrs)
After morning breakfast drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Upon arrival in Agra. Check in at the hotel.
DAY 13 : AGRA (Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday)
After morning breakfast proceed the visit of Taj Mahal a poem of love in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. It took twenty-two years and hard toil of more than twenty thousand workers to construct Taj Mahal. The beauty of the Taj Mahal is enchanting and it reflects the marvelous beauty of architecture. Taj Mahal symbolize the richness of art and architecture of the Mughal period. In the afternoon visit Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar on the west bank of the river Yamuna and beautified with palaces and gardens by Jehangir, Agra Fort today dominates the center of the city. The crescent-shaped fort with its 20-metre high, 2.4-km outer walls contains a maze of buildings that form a small city within a city. Later visit the stunning tomb of Itmad ud Daulah or the `Baby Taj’ a marble memorial with exquisite inlay work built in 1628 by Nur Jahan, queen of Jehangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. DAY 14 : AGRA – DELHI ( 200 Km, 4-5 Hrs)
After morning breakfast Drive back to Delhi. Enroute lord Krishna birth place in Mathura Temple. After continue to Delhi Upon arrival in Delhi. Evening is free at leisure. Later transfer to Delhi International Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
