DAY 01: COLOMBO
Arrival in Colombo: Arrival at Colombo international airport where You will be greeted with flowers by the representatives and transfer to hotel in Colombo. Overnight at hotel in Colombo.
DAY 02 : COLOMBO – SIGIRIYA (177 Km/ 3-5 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Sigiriya. On the way visit elephant orphanage Pinnawala. One of the most popular visited places by foreigners. Many cute baby elephants who were orphaned in the jungle of Sri Lanka, you can see here at the shelter for elephants. Pinnawala also is the center for breeding elephants in captivity. This reserve is managed by the Department of wildlife Protection and Nature Protection of Sri Lanka. It will be an unforgettable experience for tourists.In the afternoon visit Sigiriya – a World Heritage Monument and climb the rock of Sigiriya. Sigiriya: Sigiriya UNESCO declared “World Heritage Monument”. Sigiriya is very famous for its paintings and frescoes belong to the 5th century BC, The ramparts, motes,the incredible water garden with many pools and fountains.
Sigiriya: is a city of Palace and gardens complex centered on a rock with 1198 degrees and a height of 200 meters is a blazing tribute to the image of King Kashyapa who created this Palace. The top of the rock Sigiriya (Lion’s mountain), which is over 1.5 acres wide, is the location of the ruins of a large Palace, the earliest remaining Royal Palace in Sri Lanka, with several chambers and a swimming pool. DAY 03 : SIGIRIYA – DAMBULLA – KANDY (91 Km/2-3 Hrs)
After breakfast, continue the journey to Kandy. On the way visit the Dambulla Rock temple, where you can see paintings belong to 8th century BC Kandy, the last capital of the Sinhala kings of Sri Lanka, which ceded to the British his throne in 1815. closing an uninterrupted history of Sri Lankan true kings for 2500 years, it is 448 meters above sea level and surrounded by beautiful mountains and valleys. Recently, Kandy is named as “the Heritage Town”. On the way visit the Temple Alla Vavra, spice gardens in Matale (if you want, here you can buy spices).In the evening you can see Cultural Show with music and traditional dancing of Sri Lanka. DAY 04 : KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (77 Km/2-3 Hrs)
After breakfast, continue the journey to Nuwara Eliya. In the morning sightseeing and shopping in Kandy. Also included are other interesting sights: handmade crafts, gems Museum and Royal Botanical Garden, one of the largest and most beautiful gardens in South Asia.Visit the Temple of the sacred Tooth relic in Kandy, the sacred chapel for Buddhists all over the world. On the way enjoy the magnificent scenery of Waterfalls, the mist enveloping the mountains, the British and stylish houses with fragrant flower gardens. A visit to the tea factory that produces the best high mountain tea in Sri Lanka, tasting Sri Lankan tea You can cheer up and cool off. After visiting Kandy to continue the journey to Nuwara Eliya and visit the famous temple SITA Amman, which belongs to the Rama Ravana legend. Nuwara Eliya is the highest town in Sri Lanka located 2510 meters above the sea level. Nuwara Eliya was called by the British “Little England”. In the afternoon You can enjoy a walk in the Park of Nuwara Eliya. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
DAY 05 : NUWARA ELIYA – BENTOTA (210 Km/4-5 Hrs)
